In November 2024, we (Eve and Sebastian, two carbon removal policy aficionados) decided to team up to deliver timely, in-depth, punchy coverage of key policy developments in carbon removal. We were having these chats with each other anyway, so we decided to let people tune in via livestream on LinkedIn.
That is how the Carbon Removal Scoop was born.
Clearly, we were onto something: the first five livestreams reached over 12,000 people. So in January 2025, the Scoop became a podcast.
Over time, it became apparent that many of the conversations we were having weren't always fitting neatly into policy alone. So in October 2026, around our 100th episode, the Scoop expanded to cover markets and technology too, still keeping the same punchy, unfiltered conversations in under 30 minutes that our audience appreciates.
Along the way, we've sat down with government officials shaping the rules, CEOs and founders building the technology, and the investors and buyers deciding what gets funded, because understanding carbon removal means hearing from everyone at the table.
100 episodes, 75 guests, and over 36,000 downloads later, we're just as curious as we were on that first livestream.
